GC100E

GC100E is specifically developed for insulating glass and window
manufacturers who process soft coated Low-E glass, applicable to all state of
the art vacuum deposited and sputter coated coatings.

GC100E is a totally evaporating cutting fluid, producing excellent scoring and break-out qualities.

GC100E if properly applied, leaves NO residual cutting fluid on the glass edge,thus your washer water is not
contaminated and most importantly, adhesion of sealants is not impaired.

GC100E should be used ideally where cycle times between cutting and break-out are short.  As a guide line, this fluid is
ideal for glass thickness range from 3/32" - 3/16" with stock sheets up to 48 square feet.  Theoretical evaporation time with
glass surface temperature @ 30°C (86°F) is approximately 20-25 minutes.

GC110E

GC110E has application characteristics identical to GC100E, however it evaporates somewhat slower.  As a guide line, this  
fluid is ideal for the residential I-G/Window manufacturers who process stock sheets 96" x 130/108" x 144" and a glass
thickness range of 3/32" to 1/4".

GC110E is also used on float lines.  Theoretical evaporation time with glass surface temperature of 30°C (86°F) is
approximately 40 minutes +

GC110E is specifically developed for insulating glass and window manufacturers who process soft coated LOW-E glass.

GC110E is a totally evaporating cutting fluid producing excellent cutting and break-out qualities.

GC110E if properly applied leaves no residual cutting fluid on the glass edges thus your washer water is not contaminated,
and most importantly, adhesion of sealants to glass is not impaired.

GC110E should be used ideally where cycle times between cutting and break-out are relatively short.

GC110E can also be used to cut clear float and hard coated glass.


GC120E

GC120E is, in its application characteristics identical to GC100E and GC110E

GC120E should be used where cycle times between cutting and break-out are fairly long, in other words commercial I-G  
manufacturers who process jumbo size sheets (130" x 204") with a thickness range of up to 3/4".  

GC120E is also used on float lines.  Theoretical evaporation time with glass surface temperature 30° C (86°F) is
approximately 97 minutes.

GC120E renders the same qualities as the afore mentioned types, but evaporates considerably slower.

GC120E is widely used by glass processors who cut large (jumbo size) stock sheets into many small sizes, where time
cycles between cutting and break-out are longer than with smaller stock sizes.


The following are additional and noteworthy characteristics of our evaporating glass cutting fluids:

~ This product is for multi-purpose use. In Europe, automotive glass mfrs. use it. GC 110 E is also suitable for mirror and laminated  
    glass cutting.

~  Its evaporation is constant until no residue is left, of course cycle time depends on the type/amount of evaporating ingredient
    in the specific type ( GC 100...110  120... we can also customize an evaporating cycle per customer requirement )

~  Does not attack any known soft coat or mirror backing.

~  Does not impair/affect adhesion on any insulating glass sealant.

~  Excellent cutting wheel lubricant that promotes keeping the score line (fissure) open, thus resulting in a good/perpendicular
    break out.

~  This will result in reduced, subsequent edge work requirement.

~  No hazardous ingredients that would cause cancer, etc.

~  Compatible to most plastics on modern machinery.

Not water soluble. If excess amounts of fluid were used to score the glass, the cutting fluid initially swims on top of the water surface,
however, if water in the washer would be left as is for many hours, the cutting fluid still continues to evaporate. This is significant as
it does not contaminate the glass washing machine.

What promotes a good, clean break out?
A good quality cutting wheel with the correct angle for the subject glass thickness to cut.
Correct downward pressure.
A quality cutting lubricant!
           

                                   MINERAL OIL BASED, WASHABLE GLASS CUTTING FLUIDS
GC200NE

GC200NE is a high performance glass cutting fluid for superior quality break-out demands.  Typically GC200NE is used
for automotive glass where tight radii and tolerances are required as well as for very thick glass for the furniture industry.
Flat glass which requires edgework after cutting should have a clean and straight break in order to minimize wear on  
diamond wheels.

GC200NE has a unique characteristic in that it penetrates the score (cut) fast and deep and prevents the score (cut) from
healing again, resulting in consistent good clean and straight breaks (Note: Part of attaining good break-out results also
require a good quality cutting wheel, correct wheel angle and pressure.

GC200NE produces distinct advantages, one allowing substantial reduced cutting pressure for prolonged wheel life, as
well as reduced fluid volume up to 40% when comparing with cutting fluids made of mineral oil derivatives.

GC200NE is water soluble and washes off easily with plain cold water.

GC200NE should not be used on soft coated glass.
